Brand Identity

The event identity centered around Dr. Amy Gutmann's inaugural theme "Rising to the Challenges of a Diverse Democracy". Alusiv combined traditional and contemporary references meaningful to the University and the vision of its new president. Balanced with the typography of the event name was a diversely colored pattern derived from the interior frescos of the University's Irvine Auditorium, the site of the inauguration ceremony.
