Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War Exhibition

Exhibit Design

As part of the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial commemoration, this 1000-square foot traveling exhibit is a collaboration between NCC and the American LIbrary Association, and will travel to 50 public libraries across the U.S. through 2013. The exhibit interprets how Lincoln used the Constitution in facing three crises of the Civil War – secession of Southern states, slavery, and civil liberties during wartime. Alusiv designed the exhibit to graphically amplify the urgency, immediacy and action of these narratives that have such contemporary resonance, while simultaneously framing the historical context of Lincoln's life and legacy. At right is the exhibition introduction panel unit.
