Colony to Community is an eight panel traveling exhibition which tells the history of the New Sweden scolony established in what is now the Philadelphia area in 1638, and how the Swedish colonial community grew into the 21st century. A collaboration of the ASHM, Delaware Historical Society and New Jersey State Museum, it was installed in each museum along with object, art and artifact collections curated from each. The installation photos presented in the following slides are from the ASHM opening.
