AltStitch is a company that specializes in custom apparel, embroidery, quilting and clothing alterations. Alusiv named the company and created the brand to reference a verbal and visual dichotomy of traditional and alternative, structural and fluid. With a client niche in Americana music apparel, the name prefix "Alt" is intended to read as "alternative" as well as "alteration". AltStitch has provided apparel services to singer-songwriters including Marah, Tift Merritt, Jason Ringenberg (Jason & The Scorchers), Christy McWilson and Rosie Flores among others.
